ONE OF OUR MOST IMPORTANT MEETINGS

September 20, 2004

Dear Sponsors and Friends of Rekindling Reform:

We are writing to invite you to attend one of the most important meetings we have ever put together. As you know, the future of health care in America is one of the key issues in this year’s national elections.  The outcome will determine if, when and how we move toward health care for all.

Polls show that the cost and availability of affordable health care are one of voters’ top concerns, and each party and candidate has put forth a package of proposals.  Confused on what they say or mean?   What will these plans deliver?  What’s the forecast for meaningful health care reform if George Bush is elected if John Kerry is elected?  What will be the challenges for moving forward on this important issue under our next President and Congress?

These are but some of the questions we will be posing in our exciting upcoming pre-election forum at NYU Medical Center on Thursday evening Oct. 14, sand we have a stellar line-up of experts who will help us wrestle with and understand them:

Please join us at this critically important event. We look forward to seeing you on October 14.   Enclosed is a flyer with all the details – please share it with your friends and colleagues.
