Help build a path along wetlands!
Date: June 26th, 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Location: Swindler Cove Park (Washington Heights / Inwood, Manhattan)
Who can participate?: Adults and families are invited to join in the fun! Since this is a big project, groups are encouraged to register.
Activities: Help create a pathway along the wetlands in Sherman Creek Park. Volunteers will get to explore a side of Sherman Creek that most visitors don’t see. After the project is completed, volunteers will share lunch with NYRP!

Swindler Cove Volunteer Program
Date: The first and third Sunday of every month through October, 1:00 to 3:30 PM
Location: Swindler Cove: Harlem River Drive and Dyckman Street (at 10th Avenue)
Who can participate?: Adults and families are invited to join in the fun! Local Washington Heights residents are encouraged to participate.
Activities: Volunteers will help with the day-to-day care and beautification of Swindler Cove Park. Repeat volunteers will have the pleasure of participating in every season’s activities.
Number of participants / volunteers: 10 at each event
